WIKI GET!!!


I have decided to create a wiki based around the 'Maverickverse' group of comics I author. This is mainly to act as a database of information that I was doing with the cast pages and such, but I find the wiki format much easier to edit and keep current than what I was doing. It is bare at the moment as I just created it today (and was focused on working on the layout of the comic itself).

I will put in all the information I can on any comic I work on that is associated with the Maverickverse. I may also do an affiliates section to give some props to comics I like and some such, if the owners of those comics approve. It is all dependent on the feedback I get from this project.

I may even have a section for 'original characters' which is just a place I, or anyone with a spare character they wish to show off, can post that has no story they're in. I know I have about 20 laying around that are not in the Maverickverse stories itself.

I am trying to make this into a community oriented place for Mega Man fans. Though the main focus on it will be for the comics I do, I just have secondary plans there.

So stay tuned to that!

Sorry for the delay. Had a loss in the family that made me lose any interest in making a comic for a while. I am working on the next one, it should be up sometime soon. Until then, I added a new story preview, this one centering on Zero. Check it out.

So yeah, I've been gone for a little bit. Sorry about that. Just life drained me of any effort for the comic for a bit. It happens from time to time, but it doesn't mean I am stopping the comic. I have several stories for it already plotted out, and I don't want that to be for nothing, after all.

I've added a new 'preview' section that will let you see what some of the upcoming stories are. They're not in any order, just a plot image for when I have a moment to make one.

I also have some other stuff in the works as I mentioned in previous news posts. They were also delayed thanks to life. But eh, what can ya do? I'll have more updates soon. I might have to rework the update schedule I made for myself, but we'll have to wait and see.

So I have completed chapter 1, and as such, I am now establishing a set update schedule. Each week I plan to update every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday (barring some unforeseen obstacle to that).

Also upcoming I am working on a cast page and a FAQ page. So if you have some questions you'd like to ask, go for it, and I'll try to work them into the FAQ.

And I am also putting this out there: I am in need of secondary and background characters, both good and bad. Because it's hard enough to make up a couple of extra characters, anyone who wants to make a character (32-bit style like Mega Man 8 and X4, 5, and 6) can post here or message me with a link to the sprite they made (or if you had an idea and got someone else to sprite it for you too). Proper credit will be given to those who contribute characters.

Welp, the comic is well on it's way. I've added some links and made some graphical changes to try and make it better looking as a Mega Man X comic. Might make some more changes here and there in the future.

I also have a cast page on the way to give tidbit info on the characters that will be up at some point in the future. Enjoy!

So after floating around on the internet, my webcomic finally finds itself a new home. I hope that I can continue to make the comic to the standards I have set myself and that the people who do read it will enjoy it and like the work I put into it.
